Fled the corporate world after 20 years as a journalist and editor, founded a business on Sydney's northern beaches importing high-end textiles (yes, my mother-in-law thought I was insane) and started learning about the realities of running and growing a business. Seven years on, I have a team of lovely people in place, allowing me to step back and take on some other challenges - such as sharing some of my experience and working to help other businesses grow.
