Do you have contacts in Government who help small businesses?
Hi,
I have just spent over an hour with the Department of Business and Innovation's (DBI) Development Manager who was very helpful and gave good advice and leads for my business. I only found them at a council seminar. Note. There are a number of grants out there waiting for businesses to apply!
My question is, does anyone else know contacts, other departments who are there to help small businesses?
The DBI were great but they mainly cater for businesses over 20 employees.
Regards
Peter
Hey Peter, great question. I'm keen to know who other savvies might know in gov depts who can help. I have just rephrased your question title so that it's more visible to others.
Hi Phil, my question was more for help, grants was just a footnote, but any help either advice or grants cannot be bad for business.
Hi Peter,
I do not have any direct contacts but I would recommend that you contact Pattens. They specialise in Governments Grants and R&D Tax Concession.
Hi Peter, I know your questions was for DBI but in case of any query about council approval in Australia & Blue Mountains then you can contact Colin Frager for town planning consultancy.
Hi Peter - Not sure how old this post is - I have some good contacts for grants in R&D, Innovation and Export, Cheers Ian
