Eggcelent content marketing for your facebook page

Throughout the year it is advantageous to create content as part of your marketing strategy that is both relevant to your industry and applicable to current events whether it be specific holidays or nationally recognised days of the year.

It’s no surprise that posting about current topics that your Facebook followers already have in mind tend to go viral. Photos generate the most engagement on Facebook at around 53% more likes and 104% more comments than standard text posts.

Fill in the blanks are another way to engage more with your audience and usually gain about 90% more engagement than text posts.

Keep track of when Easter starts trending on your social media networks so you can be on top of it. Have relevant content in the form of images, videos, links, and promotions ready to go, connecting your business with the event.

The kind of content you should be posting depends on your industry however general Easter DIY crafts and recipes are always a hit, not to mention competitions!

Many large companies have developed virtual Easter egg hunts; this may not be within your budget but why not host an Easter egg hunt in your office. By posting these photos on Facebook you give followers a personal insight into your business that they can resonate with.

As with any public holiday or event, change up your cover photo for the week by giving it an Easter theme.

Thanks for the pre-warning!! I always have trouble trying to not eat the eggs after I find them. It makes me want to lose the Easter egg hunt for the sake of my waistline!
